Hapkido is a non-competitive traditional Martial Art. We utilize: Kicking, Striking, Throwing, Takedowns, Joint Locks, Grappling, Ground Fighting, Pressure Points, Leveraging/Off-Balancing, Weapons and more; to give you a complete system of Self-Defence.
The classes are a fast-paced, fun environment. A typical class starts off with breathing exercises, stretching and physical fitness drills. Then moves onto one or more of the many aspects of the art: Kicking, Striking, Blocking, Rolling, Techniques, Throwing, Weapons, etc... The classes are fun, encourage people to smile and laugh and have a good time while learning extremely effective self-defence techniques in a safe, respectful manner.
Our classes utilize a color belt system, starting at white belt, through to black belt, with each belt having a set curriculum to learn
